On a question related to Team India at an event in Abu Dhabi, Gautam Gambhir said, ‘I would love to be the coach of the Indian team. There is no greater honor than being the coach of your national team. You represent 140 crore Indians and people from all over the world and when you represent India, how can it be bigger?’
Gautam Gambhir was part of the two-time World Champion team. He has been a member of the T20 World Cup winning team in 2007 and the ODI World Cup winning team in 2011. Under his captaincy, KKR won the IPL trophy in 2012 and 2014. Meanwhile, Gambhir also told how Team India can become world champions. He said that there are 140 crore Indians who will help India win the World Cup. According to Gambhir, ‘If everyone starts praying for us and we start playing and representing them, India will win the World Cup.’
