The community pledged to continue working for India to build a new India by 2047 under the leadership of our Prime Minister Modi. NRIs expressed confidence that Modi will return once again in 2029 and the path of building a new India will continue even after 2029. Coming to India’s election results, the counting of votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections took place on June 4. In the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA won 293 seats, out of which the BJP alone got 240 seats.

Prime Minister Modi’s achievement of winning a third consecutive term has placed him in the pages of history along with India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, making him the second leader to achieve this feat. President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office and secrecy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other members of his Union Cabinet at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 9.
