On the 24th day i.e. Sunday, there was a huge surge in earnings. According to website Sacnilk, ‘Gadar 2’ collected 8.50 crores. Thus the total collection of the film has reached 501.87 crores.

The story of ‘Gadar 2’ is set in 1971 Lahore. Tara Singh goes to Pakistan to save her son Charanjit Singh from the Pakistani army. Apart from Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, the film also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur and Gaurav Chopra in lead roles. The film is narrated by Nana Patekar.
