Grandson killed grandmother for money after losing in game, police said

The murder of a 60-year-old woman has been revealed in the Sahibabad police station of Ghaziabad. The revelation revealed that the woman was killed by her own grandson. Police interrogation revealed that the accused was fond of online games and needed money after losing money in it. The woman had 2 thousand rupees. The woman refused to give. After which the grandson killed the grandmother.

DCP Trans Hindon Nimish Patil said that on June 8, a 60-year-old woman, Hari Pyari, was killed near Aarthala Shiva temple in Sahibabad police station. Hari Pyari’s son Ashok Kumar gave a complaint letter in this regard on June 28. During the investigation, the police found that 20-year-old Vinod, the grandson of the deceased woman, had killed his grandmother.

Police interrogation revealed that Vinod was playing online Ludo and Tin Patti games, in which he was losing money for a long time. Vinod also opened a chow mein and samosa shop to support himself. But due to losing money in online games, he could not even pay his rent. Vinod knew that his grandmother had money.

When Vinod went to his grandmother to get money, his grandmother refused to give him the money. Vinod then threw his grandmother on the bed and put a cloth on her chest and strangled her mouth and neck, causing the old lady to die. Vinod took away his earrings and Rs 2000 kept at home. Vinod was so clever that after that he kept opening his shop so that no one would suspect him. But the police have arrested Vinod. Apart from this, earrings have also been recovered from his possession.
