T20 World Cup 2024 Final: India won the T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa by seven runs in the final of T20 World Cup-2024 played at Kensington Oval. Many leaders of the country including President Draupadi Murmu, PM Modi have issued congratulatory messages on India’s great victory.

President Draupadi Murmu said, “My heartiest congratulations to Team India for winning the T20 World Cup. With a never-give-up spirit, the team faced tough conditions and displayed great skill throughout the tournament. It was a phenomenal victory in the final match. Well done, Team India. We are proud of you!

In a post on social media platform ‘X’, the Prime Minister said, “Champions! Our team has brought the T20 World Cup in style. We are proud of the Indian cricket team.

He described the thrilling match as historic in which India defeated a determined South African team. The Prime Minister said that more than 140 crore Indians are proud of the performance of all our cricketers. Narendra Modi said that he has won the cup on the field and won the hearts of crores of Indians in every village and street of the country. The Prime Minister said that India did not lose a single match in the entire tournament and this was no small feat as teams from many countries participated in it.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh posted on Twitter, “What an incredible win and achievement by the Indian cricket team!

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Team India’s stunning win said, “Congratulations to Team India for a great World Cup win and a great performance throughout the tournament! Surya, what a great catch! Rohit, this win is a testament to your leadership. Rahul “I know that Team India is yours. Guidance will be missed. The wonderful men in blue have made our country proud.”

CM Yogi has congratulated Team India by posting on X.

India beat South Africa by 7 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup final. Rohit Sharma and Co brought home the ICC trophy after 11 years and this is India’s first World Cup win since 2011.

India have won the T20 World Cup title for the second time after defeating South Africa in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup. The Indian team previously won the World Cup in 2007. The hero of India’s victory was Virat Kohli who played an innings of 76 runs. He has been awarded the player of the match. The final match was very exciting and India won the match on the last ball.
