Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh is ready to risk everything to meet his late father. He said this in Shikhar Dhawan’s show ‘Dhawan Karenge’. Bhajji’s father passed away in the year 2000. He did not earn much at that time. At one point even his return to the team seemed difficult. However, he did not give up. Harbhajan, one of India’s most successful bowlers, says he still draws inspiration from his father, who worked hard.

Bhajji, 43, said on the show, “As a father, I want my children to be good human beings and I pray to God for that. Whatever they want to be, it’s their choice. We will support them fully.” I also take a lot of inspiration from my father, he had a dream to be successful and make a name for himself but it’s not to be seen.

He continued, “I am sure they are watching me and will bless me. If I could risk everything to meet my father, I would gladly do so.” Reminiscing about his childhood days, Harbhajan said, “The old days were the best days. At that time I thought it was a little but a lot. But now it seems like I have a lot but feel less.

Let us tell you that Harbhajan married actress Geeta Basra in 2015. Both have two children. Daughter’s name is Hinaya while son’s name is Jovan Veer Singh. Bhajji said goodbye to cricket in 2021. He was active in international cricket from 1998 to 2016. He took 417 wickets in 103 Tests, 269 wickets in 236 ODIs and 25 wickets in 28 T20 Internationals. He has 150 dismissals in 163 matches in IPL.
