India have won the T20 World Cup title for the second time after defeating South Africa by seven runs in the final. Indian team’s star players Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant have also shared many pictures on social media after winning the World Trophy. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant shared a picture with the support staff and appreciated their work and thanked them.
While sharing the photo, Hardik Pandya wrote, “Good morning India, this is not a dream. This is reality. We are the world champions.” Hardik Pandya got emotional after finishing the last over and like the other players, he too could not control his emotions. Hardik posed several times with the trophy and struck new poses. Hardik Pandya performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup played in America and West Indies. His all-round performance helped the Indian team a lot.
Hardik performed all-round throughout the tournament, taking 11 wickets and scoring 144 runs with the bat. In the final against South Africa, Hardik scored five runs in two balls and then performed brilliantly with the ball. He took three wickets for 20 runs in 3 overs. Hardik bowled the last over and defended 16 runs.
On the other hand, Rishabh Pant, who made a surprise comeback, shared a picture with the support staff on social media, in which all the support staff of the team are seen. He has also contributed a lot in making India the world champion. Rishabh Pant tweeted, “Thank you to our incredible support and non-playing staff! Your dedication and hard work behind the scenes made all the difference. Thank you.”
