He has demanded to drop a batsman from the team

New Delhi. A high-voltage match between India and Pakistan is to be played in the Asia Cup on Saturday. Before this match, former chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Ramiz Raja has said a big thing about the team’s opener Fakhar Zaman. According to Ramiz, Fakhar is the weakest link in the Pakistani batting line-up and has advised the Pakistan team management to drop Fakhar from the match against India.

Fakhar Zaman has scored 2, 30, 27 and 14 runs in the last 4 ODIs and his form is a concern for Pakistan. Let us tell you that Fakhar scored a century against India in the Champions Trophy final in 2017 and gave Pakistan victory. It was also his first ODI century.

Ramiz Raja said on his YouTube channel, Fakhar Zaman is a big problem. He is an unorthodox hitter but when such a player is out of form it takes him some time to find a solution on the drawing board. He is a bottom hand player and plays more on the leg side and somehow keeps pace and runs with his style. Fakhar also played three ODIs against Afghanistan before the Asia Cup but failed to make an impact.

It would be better to keep Fakhar out: Ramiz
Ramiz Raja further said, “His (Fakhar’s) body language is not looking good and Pakistan needs an opener at this time who can score runs. If Imam-ul-Haq also gets out early, the pressure will increase. Pakistan will have to review Fakhar’s game. I think he should be rested. Getting him out will not only be good for him but also for the team. He is a good player. He has got many chances but the kind of poor form he is going through may not give him a chance against India.
