Mithun Chakraborty started his career with the 1976 film ‘Mrigya’, in which his acting was highly praised, but there came a time when no big heroine wanted to work with Mithun Chakraborty. In such a situation, a top actress supported him. Her name is Zeenat Aman. This revelation was made by Mithun Chakraborty himself in the show ‘Sare Ga Ma Pa’.
Mithun Chakraborty said in the show ‘Saare Ga Ma Pa’ in the year 2023 that A-list heroines used to refuse to work with him. He said, ‘How many battles can a man fight? No big heroine was willing to work with me. They thought I was a minor star. Will he ever become a hero? Who will make him a hero? What did they say about me? I don’t want to say more because it hurts so much.
Many heroines refused to work with me
He continued, ‘There was a time when I thought I would never go from B-grade films to A-grade films. Even after the announcement of the film, the actresses refused to work. Mithun said that many actors were insecure about him in those days. He felt that one day he will become a big star. Many actors refused heroines saying if you want to work with Mithun, don’t work with us.
