New Delhi. The Indian team won the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy by defeating South Africa in the final. The Indian team has not lost a single match in this tournament. This is India’s second win in the T20 World Cup. Earlier the team won the title in 2007 T20 World Cup. Bumrah had a big contribution in taking India to the final. Meanwhile former cricketer Mike Vaughan has called him the greatest bowler of white ball cricket. He has ignored Wasim Akram.
Speaking on a show, Michael Vaughan said, “If you ask me a good seam bowler, it would probably be Wasim Akram.” Along with Wasim Akram, many other bowlers are also special. But I think Jasprit Bumrah’s ability and pace is different. He has various skills. He shows it by doing this in pressure matches which is a big thing. Not that he has done that in 1 or 2 World Cup matches. He has done that in almost most matches.”

Let us tell you that Bumrah bowled 4 overs in the final and took 2 wickets for 18 runs. Talking about the entire tournament, Bumrah took a total of 15 wickets in 8 matches. He is the third highest wicket taker. Jasprit Bumrah has never let Team India down. Ever since he entered the team, he has been outstanding in most of the matches.
Jasprit Bumrah said after winning Player of the Series, “I tried to stay calm throughout the series. I’m really happy, my son is here, the family is here, and we’re working hard for this, couldn’t be a better feeling. We play on a big stage. I felt very clear and calm throughout the tournament. Emotions may take over, but the work is now done. In that over I felt a length ball was the only option, it was a reverse swing and I was happy to do it.
