New Delhi. Pakistan has announced its 15-member squad for the ODI World Cup to be held in India in October-November. Ahead of the World Cup, Pakistan has received a major setback. The team’s young fast bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the World Cup due to a shoulder injury. He has been replaced by veteran Hasan Ali, who is returning to ODIs after a year. After being dropped from the World Cup squad, Naseem has posted a message for his fans on social media, in which he looks quite emotional.
Naseem Shah wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘It is with a heavy heart that I am not part of this great team that will represent our country. I am very sad after not being part of the team. But I believe that everything is in the hands of Allah. I will return to the field soon. I would like to thank my fans and well-wishers for their support.

Inzamam called Naseem an important player
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq announced Pakistan’s World Cup squad on Friday. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Inzamam said that there is no doubt that Naseem is our important bowler, but he is injured right now. He will not be fit before the World Cup. Former Pakistan captain and currently playing the role of chief selector, Inzamam announced the World Cup squad through a press conference.
Pakistan’s World Cup squad is as follows. Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam (Captain), Shadab Khan (Vice-Captain), Imam-ul Haque, Abdullah Shafiq, Saeed Shakeel, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Ag. Salman, Osama Mir, Shaheen Shah Afridi.
