New Delhi. Rinku Singh is sad about not being selected in the T20 World Cup squad. Father Khanchandra Singh said his son’s heart was broken. India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup has been announced, with Rinku missing out. He has been placed among the reserve players. Rinku has performed brilliantly since his debut in international cricket. He has become the new finisher of Team India. Rinku’s father says that he ordered sweets and crackers at home. But he too was upset as his son’s name was not included in the 15-member squad. The father says he is happy that he will stay with the team.

Speaking to a news channel, Rinku Singh’s father Khanchandra Singh said, ‘There were a lot of expectations. We brought sweets and crackers. Thought he would play in the 11th. It was a bit of a pain not to be named in the 15-member squad. Rinku Singh is currently playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. He has not performed as expected in this IPL. He could only score 123 runs.
