How much more devastation will the world see in Gaza? South Africa appealed to the International Court of Justice to end the war

Jerusalem. The war between Israel and Hamas has been going on since October 7 and thousands of people have lost their lives. The war between Hamas and Israel has completely destroyed Gaza and still shows no signs of ending. Like Gaza, Rafah is now under threat and a scene of destruction can be seen at any moment. Efforts have been intensified all over the world to stop this ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Protests are taking place in various places and many countries are trying to intervene. But there is no sign of an end to this war yet. Meanwhile, South Africa has approached the International Court of Justice and requested a cease-fire order.

According to a report by the English website Al Jazeera, South Africa has accused Israel of genocide against the Palestinians and requested the ICJ (International Court of Justice) to order Israel to stop the attack on Rafah and end the war. Maldives has also welcomed this move by South Africa. In fact, South Africa filed its case in January only after the Israeli attack on Gaza. South Africa is calling for additional emergency measures over the Israeli attack on the southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, there are reports that thousands of Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza are forced to live without water and food, and that both sides have suffered heavy losses since the Israeli attack. Israel plans to deploy more troops and intensify its ground offensive on southern Rafah. At the same time, five Israeli soldiers were killed and seven wounded in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip when an Israeli tank accidentally fired on them. Three of them are in critical condition.

According to news agency Xinhua, Israeli tanks spotted a gun in the window of a building and fired in that direction. The soldiers operating the tank were misunderstood. They mistook the Israeli soldiers present in the building for Hamas terrorists and opened fire on them. Due to which five jawans lost their lives. The army said it was investigating how the mistake occurred in identifying the soldiers. According to the IDF, 626 Israeli soldiers have been killed so far since the Hamas attack on October 7 last year.
