Director Subhash Ghai himself shared a case of bringing the two together. He said that when I approached him, he told me, ‘Everyone says you’re going to bother me a lot’ and laughed and said, ‘We won’t bother you and we’re with you.’ When the shooting was going on and Raj Saheb heard Dilip Saheb’s Haryanvi dialogues, he said, ‘You didn’t tell me that he would speak such dialogues? That’s how I lose. He angrily said, ‘I can’t do this film.’ After listening to the actor, the director told him- ‘Okay, we won’t do the film’.
