The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the World Cup 2023 starting next month. Overall, awards are arranged for all teams who win 45 matches in the league stage. Overall, the ICC has decided to distribute a prize money of ten million US dollars (Rs. 82,95,00,000 crore) for the mega event. And whichever team wins the World Cup title, money will be showered on that team. The final match of the mega event starting from October 5 will be played on November 19. A total of 48 matches will be played in the tournament.

The semi-finalists also got silver
While the runner-up team will get a prize money of two million dollars (Rs 16,58,84,700 crore), each losing semi-final team (two teams in total) will get eight, according to information provided by the ICC. One lakh dollars (Rs. 6,63,65,520) will be given as reward. But the money will rain heavily on the winning team that wins the title. Apart from the glittering trophy, the team that wins the 2023 title will get four million dollars (Rs 33,18,00000 crore) as prize money.
Money to each winning team in the league
In the biggest World Cup ever, the team that wins each league match will receive prize money. All teams will compete against each other in a round robin league. And the top four teams will make it to the final four. Each winning team in the group stage will receive forty thousand dollars (Rs. 33,18,062 lakhs), while each team that does not reach the semi-finals or, alternatively, each quarter-finalist will receive one lakh dollars (Rs. 82,95,645 lakhs). will be given as a prize.
