Mumbai. The web series ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was appreciated by everyone from the critics to the audience. The performances of Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjida Sheikh, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, Taha Shah Badusha and Shekhar Suman were all praised for their performances in the series. But Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece and actress Sharmeen Sehgal was trolled for her performance and continues to be trolled.
‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ saw a revenge war between Sonakshi Sinha and Manisha Koirala’s characters Faridan and Mallikajan. While, Aditi Rao Hydari aka Bibbojan came across as a fearless rebel, but till the last episode, Sharmin Sehgal as Alamzeb was clear about one thing – she didn’t want to be a courtesan despite her mother’s wishes.
Those who have watched the series know that his rebellion ended with the song ‘Chaudhveen Shab’. The makers have now released its music video. Out of all the songs of ‘Hiramandi’, this was the only music video which was not officially released by the makers till date. But now it has been released. Fans are praising Shreya Ghoshal’s voice, but criticizing Sharmeen Shehgal.
