There is good news for the students taking admission in B.Tech at TripleIT, Prayagraj in the session 2024-25. Now he will understand the essence of economics and finance along with technical education. Under the National Education Policy (NEP), the institute will offer degrees in major and minor subjects from this year. Apart from this, honors degrees will also be awarded to the students admitted this year. B.Tech Information Technology (IT) and B.Tech Electronics & Communication (EC) are the main subjects in the institute. Also liberal and performing arts, economics and finance, entrepreneurship and innovation, science of happiness, alternative medicine therapy have been included as minor subjects. B.Tech four year course will be of 160 credits. The major degree will be awarded for 145 credits. After studying 15 credits, you will receive a degree in a minor subject.
Students who earn an additional 15 credits over four years will also be awarded an honors degree. Institute Director Prof. Sharad Mukul Sutavane said that in any semester after the first year, students will be able to pursue a degree by studying any one of the five minor subjects of 15 credits.
Admission is offered to 429 seats of B.Tech, currently the institute offers two streams of B.Tech. Admission to B.Tech IT (Information Technology), B.Tech EC (Electronics and Communication). Apart from this, B.Tech IT has specialization in Informatics in Business. There are approximately 429 seats in both the courses.
Multiple entry and exit option will be available
There will be multiple exit and multiple entry option for new entrants. Students who complete the first year of B.Tech will be awarded B.Tech in Certificate. B.Tech in Diploma will be awarded in the second year and BS (Bachelor of Science) degree in the third year. B.Tech degree will be awarded after completing four years of study.
