In NEET UG exam, ears and mouth were searched with torches, calluses were removed from students’ hands

NEET UG 2024: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination was conducted on Sunday amid tight security in the district. 4730 students appeared in the examination held at 9 centers decided in the district. All exam centers were jammed for security reasons. Physics made students cry in the exam, however Bio provided some relief.

Out of 4838 students of the district, 4730 students appeared for the exam. While 108 students left the exam. Students were given entry for the exam with gate checking from 11 am onwards. The cameras in the centers were connected to the control room for online monitoring. At each centre, admission was given only after fasting and biometric test by NTA.

Each room at the center had seating for 24 students, with two room invigilators stationed. Before the exam, students were asked to remove their shoes, socks, denim shirts, earrings and wrist rings from the students at the center. Heavy police presence was also deployed at each examination centres. Students who came out of the exam said that the paper was good, but the physics question bothered them a lot.

Biology subject questions were easiest. Such simple questions have never been asked. Students said that physics was difficult. Most of the questions were asked from numerical and theory. Chemistry was also simple. A total of 720 questions were asked in the exam. There were 45 questions from Physics, 45 from Chemistry and 90 from Biology, 45 from Zoology and 45 from Botany. Four marks were allotted for answering all the questions.

4838 students were selected for NEET examination at 9 centers of Deoria district. Among them 528 in city Saraswati Vidya Mandir Deoria Khas, 480 in Navjivan Public School, 720 in Central Academy Sonda, 480 in National Public School Sonda, 480 in Gurukul Mission School, 276 in Holy Angels School CC Road, 480 in DMT Deoria and 720 candidates in St. Xavier’s School, Salempur and 642 Candidates appeared in St. Paul Public School, Salempur.

The NEET exam had a tight security system. Candidates were explored in every way. For this, jammers were installed at the centers. Due to which the mobile cannot be used. Along with this, intensive examination of the students was conducted at the examination centers. Removed shoes and socks.

The ears and mouths of the students were also searched. The teachers examined the ears with torchlight. This was done because staff suspected that students may have chips in their ears and mouths. Apart from this, sandals were also taken off from the students. At the same time, police forces were also ready at the examination centres. CO City Sanjay Kumar Reddy, Women Thanedar and City Kotwal Ved Prakash Sharma were on alert in the city.

NEET was conducted at nine centers in Deoria district. In which the exam was conducted from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. Through the exam, 2.10 lakh seats have been taken for admission to various courses in medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary and select nursing colleges across the country. Out of 4838 students 4730 students appeared in the exam, remaining 108 students left the exam.
