In the last match, Ireland tormented Pakistan by not getting a big win

New Delhi. In the last league match of the ICC T20 World Cup, the Pakistan team that came to play against Ireland was disappointed by the batsmen. Captain Babar Azam decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Due to the lethal bowling of Shaheen Afridi and Imad Wasim, the team restricted Ireland to a score of just 106 runs. After this Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan, Shadab Khan and Shadab Khan started walking one after the other. Babar Azam played an unbeaten innings of 32 off 34 balls at one end to lead Pakistan to victory.

Shaheen Afridi vindicated Pakistan captain’s decision to bowl after winning the toss by taking two wickets in the very first over. He clean bowled Andrew Balbirnie on the second ball and then took the wicket of Lorcan Tucker on the fifth ball. Mohammad Amir put pressure on the team by sending back Irish captain Paul Starling. Shaheen took the wicket of Harry Tector before the team could recover.

Against Pakistan’s bowling, Ireland lost 6 wickets for just 32 runs. Imad Wasim came in late and took three wickets to dash the team’s hopes of a big score. Gareth Delaney and Joshua Little took the team past 100 runs. Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets for 22 runs while Imad took 3 wickets for just 8 runs in 4 overs.
