Sreesanth said why Rohit will also win the World Cup like Dhoni for Team India.
Sreesanth said on Star Sports, ‘If you look at Akshar Patel, a lot of people were questioning Akshar Patel’s ability in the middle overs. He took important wickets in the middle overs whenever he got the chance, not only that his economy rate was also very low compared to other bowlers. And that catch that Akshar Patel took, I think it was a game changer. Akshar Patel also said that he did not expect this catch, I just tried and the ball came into my hand. This happened because he had prepared well for it. Preparation is very important. Rohit Sharma has a lot of faith in this. We always talk about MS Dhoni with his street smarts World Cup won I think Rohit Sharma also has that ability where he can surprise even his teammates. He can call his teammates anytime and ask them to be ready. Rohit Sharma has a lot of faith in his intuition and instincts.
Sreesanth continued, ‘When this happens with a captain, sometimes even his teammates are surprised by his decisions and thus every bowler is always prepared, MS Dhoni used to do something similar. He used to say ‘Sri (Sreesanth) be ready, Ajit (Agarkar) be ready, Bhajji (Harbhajan Singh) be ready’ you can be called to bowl anytime. This kind of street smartness wins matches.
