India has won the ICC trophy after 11 years. With this win, South Africa’s attempt to shake off the chokers tag failed. The Indian team has not lost a single match in this tournament. This is the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup that a team has won the trophy without losing a match.
The T20 World Cup final was played between India and South Africa in Barbados on Saturday. India won the toss and batted first and scored 176 runs for 7 wickets. After this, South Africa were limited to 169 runs and won the trophy.
