ICC T20 World Cup India vs USA: Team India is scheduled to play its third league match in ICC T20 World Cup 2024 today. Team India will face host USA at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Both these teams have won their first two matches so far and thus whichever team wins today will clinch the Super-8 ticket. India have defeated Ireland and Pakistan, while USK will enter this match after defeating Canada and Pakistan. Questions are being raised about Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s form in the first two matches. Ravindra Jadeja has failed with both bat and ball in the first two matches. Jadeja did not take a single wicket in the first two matches and was dismissed for a golden duck when he got a chance to bat against Pakistan. Team India’s bowling coach Paras Mhambre, however, has fully backed Jadeja. Not only that, when he was asked in the press conference ahead of the match against USA if Jadeja’s poor form was a concern for the team, he did not look happy at all.

Mhambar replied, ‘I think it’s a team game? Here we are talking about 11 players. You can’t ask everyone to stay in shape. I think I am very satisfied with the team that is being talked about between Rahul Dravid and Vikram Rathore. Mhambre then said that this is a very long tournament and a veteran player like Ravindra Jadeja only needs one match to get back into form.
