After the results of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that Bharat Gathbandhan has given a new vision to the country. He said that India Alliance and Congress Party did not fight this election against only one political party, but we fought against CBI and ED. He said that all these institutions were intimidated and threatened by the Modi government. Also said that this fight is to save the constitution.
He said, “I had in mind the people of India, who would stand up and fight for their constitution. I believed and it proved true. I want to thank the activists of Babbar Sher from the bottom of my heart. You took the first and foremost position. You did the most to save the constitution. A big step has been taken.
He said that all the Congress party leaders did two or three jobs in this election. First of all we honored the friends of India Alliance. Wherever we fought elections, we fought as one. India alliance has given a new vision.
It was believed that people will come forward: Rahul Gandhi
He said, “When they seized our bank accounts and sent the chief minister to jail, I was confident that the public would come forward. Steps have been taken to save the constitution.”
He said that we respect our colleagues. All fought together. Our protest is against the government’s stance on poverty and reservation.
The weak saved the constitution: Rahul Gandhi
He said I will thank everyone. The work of saving the constitution has been done by the poorest of the poor. Tribals and weak people have saved the constitution.
He said that we will meet with our colleagues tomorrow and after that we will talk about government formation or other issues. He said that action will be taken on the decision taken in the India Alliance meeting tomorrow.
People of UP have done wonders: Rahul Gandhi
He also said that I won from both Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats. Many thanks to the people of Rae Bareli and Wayanad. On the question of vacating the seat, he said that I will ask and then take a decision.
BJP candidate and Union Minister Smriti Irani has lost from Amethi. On Congress’ victory in Amethi, Rahul Gandhi said, “Kishorilalji has been associated with Amethi for 40 years, his victory was certain. This is a good victory. I want to thank him.”
I want to tell the people of Uttar Pradesh that you have done wonders. You have protected the constitution. My sister Priyanka also has a role in this.
