On the question of ‘Indian Express’ regarding these applications, a BCCI official said, ‘BCCI received such applications last time also. The reason is also that the board invited applications through Google form. The advantage is that it is easy to sort through applications received through Google Forms. However, some people unnecessarily add to the difficulty by applying under a false name.
