So far, three teams have been announced to qualify for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024, one of which is South Africa, the second is Australia and the third is India. All three have reached the Super 8 from different groups. At the same time, for the Australian team, the ICC has decided that although Australia will remain first in Group B, it will be called B2.
With this decision of ICC, one thing is clear that the match between India and Australia will take place in T20. World Cup It is to be held before the first semi-final of 2024. The first semi-final will be played on June 26. Two days before this, on June 24, India and Australia will meet in the last match of the Super 8. ICC has preferred only India and Australia. This has not been done for any other team or group. This is the reason why Team India will play the remaining two matches against which teams are not final yet.
Team India is A1 so the team’s first Super 8 match will be against C1. Afghanistan, West Indies, Uganda, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand teams are in this group. The Indian team will face whoever tops Group C on June 20 in Barbados. At the same time, on June 22, Team India’s second Super 8 match will be against a D2 team, which at least will not be South Africa. Any one of Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal or Sri Lanka can be a team. However, chances of Sri Lanka exiting the tournament are high. In such a situation, Bangladesh can win.
