Rajasthan Medical Council, Jaipur has canceled the internship orders of three foreign medical graduate candidates due to fake documents. Online applications were invited for foreign medical graduate students to undertake internship in the state. During the verification of the list released in May-2024, three foreign medical graduate students were found to be fake. Rajasthan Medical Council Registrar Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma said that the internship orders of Rajkumar Meena, Ankur Kumar and Himanshu Chauhan have been cancelled. The concerned principal has been instructed to take action against all the above fake candidates.

It may be noted that as per the guidelines issued by the Council, it is mandatory for foreign medical graduates to pass the screening test conducted by the National Board of Examination- New Delhi for admission to internship. In this priority will be given to natives of the state.

MBBS: No student from this medical college has done MBBS in the last 13 years.

Internship in Railway Hospital, Kota
Government of Rajasthan has allowed 25 medical students who have returned after studying abroad to do internship in railway hospital in Kota. The students have to report to the hospital by June 24 and it is expected that the first batch will start from Monday. This will be the first time that medical students will do an internship in a railway hospital. This will be the first time in the 60-year history of the Railway Hospital that medical students will be able to do internship here.
