IPL 2024…otherwise bowlers will disappear like dinosaurs: Indian bowlers who have won 2 World Cups are scared.

New Delhi. IPL 2024 has never rained so many runs in the history of this tournament. The T20 league, which started on March 22, has seen 14 centuries, the most in its history. More than 1100 sixes have been hit in the tournament. Currently, only 62 matches have been played in the tournament and 200 or more have been scored 36 times. When Harbhajan Singh was questioned about this shower of runs, he expressed his fear that bowlers will disappear like dinosaurs.

Harbhajan Singh and Ambati Rayudu answered questions from select reporters at a special Star Sports event on Monday. The program asked many questions on topics like current journey of IPL, future prospects, retirement of MS Dhoni. A question was also asked that since 200-plus scores have been scored many times in the IPL this time, should the criteria for judging bowlers be changed, such as average or economy rate? In response to this question, Harbhajan Singh said that not only the bowlers, the criteria for judging the batsmen also has to be changed because the form of any batsman cannot be accurately estimated from the kind of flat pitches the matches are being played on.

IPL Playoffs: Do-or-die match with CSK by how many runs will RCB need to win? or how much over.. What does the equation say?

Harbhajan Singh further said, ‘If you play a match on a pitch where bowlers have lost their lives, the thrill of cricket will also be reduced. Cricket is interesting as long as there is a battle between the ball and the bat. If so many runs continue to be scored like this then the bowlers will disappear just like the dinosaurs have disappeared. No one has to be a bowler again. So, from my point of view, either there should be some grass on the pitch or some help to the spinner. ,

Harbhajan Singh also said that the impact player rule should also be scrapped from the IPL. If not then you will see bowling machines bowling instead of bowlers next year. The bowlers will raise their hands. He said 30-40 runs have made a difference in being an impact player. Let us tell you that Harbhajan Singh has been a member of the Indian team that won the World Cup in 2007 and 2011. He has taken 711 wickets including Tests, ODIs and T20 Internationals.
