IPL Playoff Qualification Probability: Delhi Capitals gave Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore a lease of life by beating Lucknow Super Giants in a crucial match for the playoff race on Tuesday. Had Lucknow Super Giants won this match, the chances of Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore reaching the playoffs would have been reduced. But this win by Delhi Capitals changed everything. With this win by Delhi Capitals, the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings on May 18 will be a mini eliminator as the team that wins this match will qualify for the playoffs. Apart from this, if Sunrisers Hyderabad lose their remaining two matches by a big margin, Delhi Capitals are also a possibility. After the 64th match of IPL 2024, Star Sports has tweeted about the prospects of all the teams showing the percentage of all the teams reaching the playoffs.
