Apart from Atlee, the film will mark the big Bollywood debut for Nayanthara, who is known as a lady superstar down south. Vijay Sethupathi plays the villain in this film and is also a big name in Tamil cinema. Not only this, composer Anirudh Ravichander, editor Reuben, cinematographer GK Vishnu, choreographer Shobi and art director Muthuraj have also entered the Hindi film industry through Jawaan. The comedian in the film is also a non-Hindi but southern actor Yogi Babu who played a minor role in ‘Chennai Express’ shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawaan’.
