Raghuram of Roadies fame has gone to audition for Indian Idol. There he also argued with the judges. This video is from the first season of Indian Idol in 2004. His video has also gone viral many times on social media. Now, during a podcast, Raghuram has told a funny thing related to this incident. He said that this fight took place under a plan. It was sent by the producers of the show. The funny thing was that Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and Anu Malik, who were present as judges, did not know that Raghu was doing this deliberately.

The video of Raghuram’s fight in Indian Idol is very popular. Now Raghuram talks about the incident on Cyrus Brocha’s podcast. He says, I had just finished shooting for Roadies season 2. The shooting was completed at the Wagah border. I was going to Mumbai via Delhi. The first season of the show was being shot. My then girlfriend, whom I later married and is now my ex-wife, was working with the Indian Idol team.

Raghu goes on to say, I reached there and by then my image had become that of a warm-hearted man. Those people said that friend, you have already come, so why don’t you go and fight. I asked why I would do that, I like those people, at least some of them. They said, people are coming out crying, so you go and fight, it will be fun. Sweet talk, I said I’ll do it for you.
The judges’ reaction was correct
