‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ Movie Review: The film did not live up to expectations

I went to watch ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ hoping to see a different kind of love story in a romantic drama, but after watching the entire film, I found nothing new in it…same old. Love stories from Bollywood movies. ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ does not stand up to Shahid Kapoor’s 2003 release ‘Ishq Vishk’. However, it is possible that some films will do well at the box office on the strength of the younger generation.

This is the debut of Pashmina Roshan, daughter of veteran music director Rajesh Roshan, whose performance might remind you a bit of Kim Sharma. As a child actor, the film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ is Jibran Khan’s first film as a hero, who played the role of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s son. Apart from this, Rohit Saraf and Naila Grewal are also in lead roles.

The entire story of the film revolves around these four, with Rohit Saraf playing the role of ‘Raghav’, Pashmina Roshan playing the role of ‘Sanya’, Gibran Khan playing the role of ‘Sahir’ and Naila Grewal. The role of ‘Riya’. In the film, Raghav, Sanya and Sahir are childhood best friends and as they grow up, Sahir and Sanya’s friendship turns into love. On the other hand, Raghav falls in love with Riya, a girl from his college. The twist in the story comes when Sahir and Sanya break up and Raghav and Sanya come closer to each other. Now the question is what will happen to Sahir and Riya if Raghav-Sanya starts to love each other. If you are thinking that love will blossom between Sahir-Riya after Raghav-Sanya, you have to go to the theater and watch the entire movie to know how right you are.

By the way, the film is quite short, as it also uses the scissors of the censor board. So, within 2 hours you will leave the theater after watching the movie. Although the story of the film is not new, but at the end of the film you will surely see some twist, which you will not even imagine in the whole film. The first half of the film is somewhat interesting, but the second half is quite boring. The story of the film is also quite slow.

By the way, you will definitely see the beauty of Dehradun in the film. The film has been shot in Mumbai and Dehradun, but most of the scenes have been shot in Dehradun itself. Talking about the direction, Punun Dharmadhikari has done a good job. Coming to the acting, you will love the performances of the four main characters Rohit Saraf and Pashmina Roshan. Also Gibran and Naila Grewal have done justice to their respective characters. Rochak Kohli and Anu Malik’s music is the life of the film. Also, you will love Badshah’s recreation of ‘Gore Gor Mukhda Par Black Kala Chashma’. Talking about the rating, ‘Ishq Vishq Rebound’ has got 2.5 stars from me.
