Even after securing two lakh ranks in JEE Main, students still have every hope of getting admission in engineering colleges in Bihar. Students with 1.5 to 2.5 lakh rank can get admission in MIT. MIT Registrar Prof. Rajneesh Kumar said that the cutoff is not yet, but students with 1.5 lakh rank can get admission in MIT. Now students can apply for JEE admission till June 21. Earlier this date was till June 10. There are 38 government engineering colleges across Bihar. Admission will be given to 13675 seats in engineering colleges across Bihar. This time admission in MIT will be on 400 seats.
The registrar said that MIT will also admit students in computer science. This course is starting from this time itself. Apart from this, there will also be admission in chemical engineering courses. Admission will be given in 30 seats in Computer Science and 30 in Chemical Engineering.
15 courses will be studied at MIT from this semester. MIT has also been recognized for several M.Tech courses from this semester. It includes MTech Advanced Electronics and Communication, Electronic Energy System and Transportation Engineering. MIT has a total of 620 seats for 15 courses, including 400 seats in B.Tech, 120 seats in M.Tech and 100 seats in Bachelor of Pharmacy.
BTech: Admission to 1189 seats of B.Tech is given through JEE Main and 84 seats through CUET.

Civil and IT branches are most in demand in MIT. After this comes the turn of electrical and mechanical. This time, with the introduction of studies in computer science and chemical engineering, it is expected that students will demand more for computer science after IT.
