The Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Council declared the result of the Joint Entrance Examination late on Thursday evening. The council has also announced the names of the toppers of 19 trades. In Group A, Md. Varanasi. In Group B, Saif Ansari, Dhamendra of Jhansi, Vishal of Prayagraj in Group C and Sandeep Kumar of Unnao in Group D have bagged the first rank. Lucknow’s Tushar Saxena has topped the K-2 group. Joint Entrance Examination Council has uploaded the exam result on the council website. Candidates appearing for the examination can check the website https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The council will announce the counseling schedule soon.
A press release issued by the Joint Entrance Examination Council on Thursday said that the entrance examination will be conducted from June 13 to 18 for admission to various diploma and PG courses running in government, aided, PPP and private sector polytechnics. Organizations affiliated to the Council were organized. The entrance examination for 19 different groups of polytechnics was conducted online in three shifts at 207 examination centers in 75 districts of the state. A total of 4,12,759 candidates applied for the entrance exam. Out of them 3,04,382 candidates took the entrance exam. Out of the total candidates who appeared in the examination, 3,04,329 were declared successful. Out of which 53 candidates were not successful due to various reasons.
