Students upto 24,262 rank in JEE Advanced are allotted seats in IIT ISM Dhanbad. This seat is allotted in Mining Machinery Engineering. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has released the second round seat allotment list for admission to 23 IITs of the country including IIT ISM Dhanbad. Registration is being taken for 1125 seats in other courses including IIT Dhanbad and B.Tech. Closing ranks have lagged behind in many disciplines of the institute, although the opening rank of 1817 in Computer Science remains intact. The closing rank has gone to 8100. Informants say that seats are to be allotted in five rounds to fill the vacant seats. Due to this reason, there is a possibility that the closing rank of the organization will reach 25 thousand. Now all eyes are on the final round seat allotment.

Thank you. With the commencement of seat allotment for JEE Advanced qualified students, IIT ISM Dhanbad has released the schedule for other courses including B.Tech. Students who have registered for the institute’s 1125 seats have to report to IIT Dhanbad on July 28 by 9 am. After reporting to the Student Activity Center of the institute, you will be sent to the allotted hostel on completion of biometric verification. Boys will be allotted rooms in Amber Hostel and girls will be allotted rooms in Roselyn Hostel. The next day, on July 29, an orientation program will be organized at Penman Hall. Classes will start from 30th July. The important thing is that this time the verification of documents will be done on the sixth day after the commencement of classes i.e. on 4th August. IIT management has issued detailed instructions regarding registration.
