JSSC Jharkhand Police Constable Bharti 2024: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has canceled the applications of 1,44,308 applicants for Jharkhand Police Constable Recruitment Exam-2023 (Regular & Backlog). A total of 58,366 candidates did not give the district option while applying online. For this reason their applications were rejected. Similarly, 77,950 candidates did not pay the examination fee. 7,902 candidates paid the exam fee but did not upload photo and signature. 90 candidates had their applications rejected as they applied more than once. Online applications for the competitive exam were filled from January 22 to February 21 this year.

First there will be physical test which will be qualifying only. It will only be necessary to pass. His marks will not be added to the merit. There will be a medical test for the candidates who pass it. Medical passed candidates will be called for written test. The written examination will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of two papers. Each question will carry three marks. All questions will be multiple choice. The first paper will be knowledge of regional tribal language. The second paper will be of Hindi Language, Numerical and General Knowledge questions.
In the physical test, men will have to run 10 km in 60 minutes. While women have to run 5 km in 30 minutes.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination keeping in mind the reservation.
There will be negative marking in the written examination. One mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Home Guard personnel will get reservation
Home Guard trained personnel will be given 50 percent reservation in the recruitment process. Relaxation of five years in the maximum age limit for going to Home Guard. If candidates are not found in the posts reserved for Home Guard, non-Home Guard candidates will be appointed to those posts. Only trained Home Guard soldiers enrolled from Jharkhand, who have rendered active service for a period of three years or six months after enrollment, will benefit from this provision.
