510 Regional Health Officers will be appointed in the Health Department of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission released advertisement for Jharkhand Regional Worker Recruitment Competitive Exam 2024 on Friday. Candidates can apply online from 1st August to 31st August. The exam fee has to be deposited by September 2. At the same time, the photo and signature will be uploaded till September 4 and the link will be open to download the print out of the application form. The link for correction of online application will be provided from 6th to 8th September. Matriculation is mandatory by the last date of application. The minimum age limit for appointment has been fixed at 18 years. The age limit will be reckoned from 1st August, 2024.
230 Unreserved, 133 Scheduled Tribes, 44 Scheduled Castes, 45 Very Backward, 07 Backward and 51 Economically Weaker Sections will be recruited.
The exam will be conducted in one phase
The competitive examination will be computer based or OMR based. The examination will be conducted in one phase (Main Examination). In this, all the questions will be objective and will have multiple choice answers. One question will be of three marks. Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The main examination will be of three papers. The first paper will be on language knowledge, the second paper will be on tribal and regional languages and the third paper will be on general studies. It will be mandatory to secure 30% marks each in all the three papers. The first paper will be for qualification only and its marks will not be added to the merit list.
