His debut film ‘Maharaj’ is ready, but the film has been mired in controversies even before its release on OTT Netflix. For the past few days, many Hindu organizations have been protesting the film continuously. In this regard, today i.e. Wednesday, the Brahmin community and Vaishnav community in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena protested against Junaid’s film ‘Maharaj’ and also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister.
People from the Brahmin community and Vaishnav sect said, ‘A fake film has been made to promote Aamir Khan’s son, in which venom has been spewed against Sanatan Dharma and Hindu gods and goddesses.’ Those who gave the memorandum have warned the filmmakers that if the film is not banned, there will be violent agitation across the country. He said that the film shows many scenes against Sanatan Dharma, Sri Vallabhacharyaji and Lord Sri Krishna.
The film is being criticized on social media
Junaid Khan’s film ‘Maharaj’ has been heavily protested on social media for the past few days. Boycott Netflix on June 13 on X (Twitter). Users demanded a ban on the film with this hashtag. The film is based on a true story
The story of ‘Maharaj’ is said to be inspired by a true story. In this, Junaid Khan will be seen in the role of journalist and social reformer Karsandas Mulji. At the same time, Jaideep Ahlawat is also a part of the film, who will be seen in the role of Jadunathji Brijartanji Maharaj. The film ‘Maharaj’ is based on the 1862 Maharaj defamation case, which is considered one of India’s most important legal battles.
