Mumbai. Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 1Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has become the third biggest opener of Indian cinema. Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned around Rs 95 crore on the first day in India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages, while its total estimated collection is around Rs 115 crore. The film collected 180 crore rupees worldwide.
According to the SACNILC report, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has collected an estimated Rs 115 crore in India on the first day at the box office. At the same time, it has earned Rs 65 crore worldwide. In this way, Prabhas’ film has created a record by collecting 180 crore rupees on the opening day.
Kalki 2898 AD with huge collections like ‘KGF 2’ (Rs 159 crore), ‘Saalar’ (Rs 158 crore), ‘Leo’ (Rs 142.75 crore), ‘Sahu’ (Rs 130 crore) and ‘Jawaan’ ‘ (Rs 129 crore) has surpassed the worldwide opening record. ‘RRR’ is still Rs. 223 crores is the highest opening Indian film, followed by ‘Baahubali 2’ on its opening day of Rs. 217 crores earned.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ released worldwide on June 27. The film has sold more than 20 lakh tickets in advance booking across all languages. The film has also received positive response from critics.
