Review

The visuals of the film are very stunning and will keep you engaged for 3 hours to confirm what you know. This is a good and bad thing. There is talk about the courage of Nag Ashwin who is doing something similar in his third film. They force you to get lost in that world and believe that in the future, women will have no freedom over their bodies and men will only care about capitalist profits. A world where economic inequality has worsened.

The Kurukshetra scenes don’t show so much magic on their own as they help you fit the pieces of the puzzle to figure out what happens 6000 years later. The first half makes you excited to know everything, while the second half helps to advance the story and prepare more for the upcoming installments. The film’s fight scenes, especially those that use VFX, look weird. However, the fight scenes of Aswatthama were very good.

performance

Amitabh Bachchan has done wonders as Ashwathama and you too will definitely appreciate him. Kamal gets goosebumps every time he comes on screen even though his screen time is less. Prabhas was very funny in some scenes. Deepika’s performance is also very good. Kalki 2898 AD may not be flawless, but it is such a daring and interesting film to watch on screen. Nag portrayed his human emotions brilliantly and this film is based on that.

It’s great to see how Telugu cinema’s superhero sci-fi film can push its boundaries and do whatever it wants. That’s what’s going on with these characters. Due to this it is now being hoped that the next part of the film will be bigger and bigger.
