Kalki 2898 AD Worldwide Box Office Collection: The recently released science-fiction film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is creating a sensation at the box office. This film has a lot of craze not only in the country but also abroad. According to film trade analyst Ramesh Bala, on Monday the film has collected Rs. 600 crore mark has been crossed. The worldwide collection of the film was approximately Rs 625 crore. According to industry tracker Sacanilc, the film’s net collection in India is Rs. 343.6 crore, of which the Telugu version was the major contributor. The film has earned Rs 182 crores in Telugu states. The Hindi circuit is the second largest market, earning Rs 128 crore.
The film saw a slight decline in night shows in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. In the Telugu region, the 3D night show earned 55.43 percent on Day 5, while in the Tamil circuit, the night show earned 28.14 percent and in Hindi, 47.28 percent. Looking at the earnings graph so far, the makers hope that the film will soon cross Rs. 800 crore club and will become the first blockbuster film of the year. Let us tell you that this film was released on June 27 in five languages namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. It is directed by Nag Ashwin. The film has a star cast like megastar Amitabh Bachchan, veteran Tamil cinema icon Kamal Haasan, Telugu superstar Prabhas, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
As for the characters, Prabhas plays the role of Bhairav while Deepika Padukone plays the role of Sumati, a strong woman who fights for the unborn child. Amitabh is playing the role of Ashwatthama in the film. Kamal Haasan plays the villain Yaskin while Disha Patani plays the role of Roxy. The film has several stars making special appearances, including director Ram Gopal Varma, filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, actor Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and actress Mrinal Thakur.
