The multistarrer film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is making a splash at the box office. At the Indian box office alone, the film has earned more than Rs 220 crore in 3 days and it is estimated that the graph has crossed Rs 500 crore in terms of worldwide collections. The film, which connects the present and the future with the story of Mahabharata, is expected to recover its cost in just 4 to 5 days. The film was much hyped and was almost certain to get a grand opening on its release date, but the trouble was whether its earnings momentum would sustain post-release.

Prabhas’ film is breaking records and earnings!
The second day after Friday saw a massive drop of around 40 percent in the film’s earnings, but the business started to improve once again from the second day itself. Based on this it is believed that ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is getting positive word of mouth publicity. In one of his reports, Sanilk has said that the film’s worldwide gross collection may touch the figure of Rs 500 crore by the fourth day. However, it would be better to wait for the official statistics in this matter.

Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, Superstar Prabhas is playing the lead role. This could be another big achievement in the career of Prabhas who has given blockbuster hits like Baahubali and Salaar. The title of the film was initially ‘Project-K’ but was later changed to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Ever since the announcement, fans started speculating whether it is true or not, the story of the film could be about Lord Vishnu’s Kalki avatar as described in religious stories.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film received a rating of 8.2 out of 10 on IMDb, which is considered very good. 73% liked the movie a lot and gave it a 10 star rating. While 4.8% people have given it 1 star. Obviously, a large section of people have liked this film. As the makers did not wrap up the story at the end of the first part and left many questions for the second part, the audience will eagerly wait for the part-2 of this film.
