After the declaration of JEE Advanced results, JoSAA counseling started from June 10 for more than 50 thousand seats in 121 engineering institutes. Admission will be given to more than 17 thousand seats. Experts said that those whose AIR will be less than five thousand are likely to get core branch of top five NIT Tirchi, Warangal, Suratkal, Allahabad, Jaipur TripleIT Allahabad. Students whose All India Rank is between 5 to 10 thousand will get the above mentioned NIT.
Those with rank upto 25000 can get BTech seat in IIT ISM.
In the year 2024, nominations will be taken for 1125 seats in other courses including B.Tech in IIT Dhanbad. Out of this, 115 seats have been reserved for girls under super numerical quota. JEE Advanced 2024 in IIT ISM in the year 2024 has the possibility of allotment of seats up to 25 thousand or more ranks. Talking about the trend of the last two years, the closing rank of IIT Dhanbad in the year 2022 was 23479. The closing rank increased to 24,166 in the year 2023. Due to this reason, it is expected that Dhanbad will get upto 25 thousand rank seats this time. The process of seat allotment will be completed in five rounds.
