Bhojpuri actor and sitting MP from Azamgarh Dinesh Lal Yadav is contesting from Nirhua. Nirhua is contesting on a BJP ticket and is campaigning vigorously these days. Here BJP candidate Dinesh Lal Yadav is contesting against Nirhua Samajwadi Party’s Dharmendra Yadav. Voting for Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat is scheduled on May 25. This is the last round of promotions and his Bhojpuri film industry colleagues are going all out for Nirhua. That is why not one or two but most of the stars of the Bhojpuri film industry are promoting with him. Stars like Amrapali Dubey, Anjana Singh, Neelam Giri, Akshara Singh and Ayaz Khan were seen promoting Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua.

Talking about the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was contesting from here in 2019. His competition is with Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua. Akhilesh won this seat. But during assembly election Akhilesh Yadav decided to contest MLA election and then by-election was held on Azamgarh seat and Dinesh Lal Yadav won Nirhua. In 2014, late SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav won the election from Azamgarh seat.
