Lok Sabha Elections 2024 7th Phase Voting: Polling in 57 seats in the last phase, CM Yogi cast his vote in Gorakhpur.

Today is the seventh and final phase (7th phase polling) of Lok Sabha Elections 2024. A total of 57 seats in 7 states and one union territory are going to polls today. This phase is also considered important because the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Varanasi, is voting today. States in which voting is taking place today. It includes 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh, all 13 in Punjab, 8 in Bihar, 4 in Himachal Pradesh, 3 in Jharkhand, 9 in West Bengal and 6 in Odisha. Today along with the Lok Sabha elections, the remaining 42 assembly seats of Odisha and 6 assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh are also being voted on. Voting will be held from 7 am to 5 pm.

There are about 4.82 crore women, 5.24 crore men and 3,574 third gender voters in the seventh phase. A total of 10.6 crore voters will exercise their franchise. The fate of a total of 904 candidates on 57 Lok Sabha seats is at stake in the seventh and final phase. The polling which started on April 19 will end after 5 pm today, so far 486 seats in 28 states and Union Territories have been polled in six phases.

In the seventh and final leg are the futures of PM Modi, Union Minister RK Singh, actress Kangana Ranaut, Anurag Thakur, Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan, Kajal Nishad, Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh, Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee, Vikramaditya Singh, Anaraf Singh, Arvind Banerjee. His fate at stake will be captured in the EVMs today and the moment of decision will come on June 4. Out of the 57 Lok Sabha seats going to polls on June 1, the highest number of seats went to the BJP in the last election (2019). BJD got 4 seats, JDU and Apna Dal (S) 2 seats each, TMC 9 seats and JMM only 1 seat.
