All SP MPs were seen wearing red caps and red handkerchiefs. SP’s women MPs wore gamcha but not the red cap.
Samajwadi Party has won 37 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections. With this victory of SP, BJP’s dream of getting majority on its own was shattered. With this win, the BJP and the Congress became the single largest parties in the Lok Sabha after the SP got 33.59 percent of the votes in Uttar Pradesh. While BJP has managed to win only 33 seats with 41.37 percent votes.
