Amol Kale MCA: Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president Amol Kale passed away on Monday. He suffered a heart attack after watching the T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan in New York. After this his life could not be saved. The 47-year-old Kale became the MCA president after defeating former India and Mumbai cricketer Sandeep Patil in the elections held in October 2022. The BCCI took several important decisions during his tenure, including uniform match fees for all its players in the red ball format for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The MCA announced a prize money of Rs 5 crore for the Ranji Trophy winning team. This is more than BCCI’s prize money.
