When a person is talented he gets success in every field. Today we want to tell you about one such talented student who not only cleared JEE Advanced but also NEET UG and WBJEE 2024 exams.
Avik Das, who hails from Alipurdwar, a small town in Bengal, has topped IIT Guwahati zone in the JEE Advanced exam and secured an All India rank of 69. With this he has secured 705 marks out of 720 in NEET UG. His rank is seventh in West Bengal JEE exam. Avik is only 17 years old, at such a young age he has already achieved many things.
Avik’s dream is to become an astrophysicist. For which he wants to take admission in BS-MS course in Physics of Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Avik said that since childhood he has been interested in celestial bodies, space, stars, galaxies, supernovae and black holes. He started studying the famous scientist from the fifth standard. Stephen Hawking Started reading books. Hawking’s books inspired Avik to become an astrophysicist. Avik says that he aspires to become an astrophysicist in the future, for which clearing JEE and NEET was very important for him. He is enrolled in Bachelor of Science in IISc. I am very happy to have cleared both the exams.
Avik’s father Pradeep Kumar is a science and mathematics teacher in a government high school. Avik’s mother is a housewife. Avik did his schooling from McWilliam High School, Alipurduar. He secured first rank in West Bengal board by securing 99.2 percent marks in 12th board examination. Tenth Avik also performed brilliantly and secured the fourth rank in the West Bengal Board. Avik has secured 99.9803 percent marks in JEE Main and Advanced exam conducted this year.
Avik said that he did not take any good coaching for JEE and NEET to achieve his goal. He took online coaching from Alan Digital. Apart from this he used to do 10 hours of self study. Avik says that preparing for competitive exams is a marathon in itself and by preparing from home in such a situation, I was able to refresh myself mentally. For me study means not only to get good marks but also to gain more and more knowledge.
Avik said that he studied every day and learned from his mistakes to get good marks. He said that you should prepare very well in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to get good marks.
Avik Das is an inspiration to all students who are preparing for JEE and NEET. If your courage is high you can achieve anything in your life, but the condition is that you have to work hard for it.
