New Delhi. South superstar Chiranjeevi’s ex-son-in-law i.e. Srija Konidela’s first husband Sirish Bharadwaj has passed away. He was about 39 years old. According to media reports, Sirish had been ill for some time. He was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad due to a lung problem. But he died in the hospital on Wednesday, June 19 morning. The hospital and family have not yet issued a statement. His entire family is mourning his death.
The news of Sirish Bharadwaj’s death has sent a wave of grief in the South industry. Actress Sree Reddy shared a post on her social media expressing grief over Sirish’s demise. The actress shared a picture of Sirish on Instagram and wrote, ‘Sirish Bhardwaj is no more… May his soul rest in peace.’
Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sreeja got married to Sirish in 2007. Both went against the family and got married in the Arya Samaj temple. Sreeja was only 19 years old when this marriage took place and Sirish was two years older than her. Both also have a daughter. But after a few years of marriage, Sreeja filed a dowry harassment case against Sirish and separated from the marriage. Sreeja-Sirish got divorced in 2014.
After divorcing Sirish, Sreeja remarried to businessman Kalyan Dev in 2016. However, this relationship with Sreeja also did not last and the two live separately. Sirish joined politics after ending his relationship with Sreeja. Sirish later remarried and settled down.
