New Delhi. The Indian squad for Asia Cup 2023 has been announced. The 17-member squad is dominated by players from IPL franchise Mumbai Indians. Five players from the MI camp have managed to get a place in the Indian squad for the upcoming tournament. After that the name of the team is Gujarat Titans. Three players from the Gujarat camp have joined the Indian contingent.

Talking about all the players selected for Asia Cup 2023 who appeared for their teams during the Indian Premier League, their names are as follows-

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (captain), Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma.

Gujarat Titans: Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya (Vice-Captain) and Mohammed Shami.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli and Mohammad Siraj.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur.

Delhi Capital: Kuldeep Yadav and Akshar Patel.

Rajasthan Royals: Famous Krishna and Sanju Samson (standby players).

Lucknow Super Giants: KL Rahul (wicketkeeper).

Chennai Super Kings: Ravindra Jadeja.

Let it be known that not a single player of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings has got a chance for Asia Cup 2023. It was expected that Punjab’s Dhawan and Arshdeep and Hyderabad’s Washington Sundar would make it to the list, but it didn’t happen.
