Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput recently reacted to Saba Azad’s social media post. Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend Saba Azad actually posted a post protesting the patriarchal mentality. While talking to Film Companion, Mira Rajput said about Saba Azad that both partners have an important role in the family. He told how he enjoys playing his role in the family as it gives him a sense of confidence and self-reliance.

On Saba’s issue, Meera said that one should not be identified on the basis of his association with others. He said he has experienced this himself but feels it is a kind of blessing. He said it also gave him many opportunities. Taking on the patriarchal mindset on social media, Saba wrote that some directors feel that she will not need work because she is dating a successful actor.

Meera said that people questioned her being a housewife back then but despite having a modern image, it is her own traditional choice.
